The functionality Phototheca has to offer is ideally suited for you if you have a large collection of photos and you need an efficient tool to view and manage those photos. Via the application’s user friendly and good looking interface, you can view your images, sort them into albums, and more.
The Phototheca installation file is close to 10 MB in size, which means that on a high-speed internet connection the download will complete in little time. Run this file and you will be able to easily install it; a simple setup wizard will help you get Phototheca up and running on your Windows-powered machine (Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7).
The main pane of Phototheca interface presents the images in your library or albums as thumbnails (a slider in the bottom right hand corner lets you adjust the size of the thumbnails). Double click a thumbnail to view the image in all its glory, or hit a button to view a slideshow of your images.
To the left there’s a section lists of your Library, Albums, Info on a selected album or photo, and more.
From the Settings menu, the Appearance submenu, you can use a slider to change how the background looks. Slide it all the way to the left and the background will be pitch black. Slide it all the way to the right and it will be bright white.
Use Phototheca to import photos, view them, and organize them. When you import photos, they are automatically organized into Events. To enjoy the beauty of your photos, you can easily switch to full-screen mode and do away with anything that might distract you from viewing the photos. To easily find photos, tag them with keywords, sort them into albums. If you have photos that you don’t want others to see, you can protect them. You can easily access all this functionality by getting the Phototheca application.
Phototheca is freeware. Please note that you will need to create a Phototheca account to access some advanced features.
With Phototheca, you have a good looking application that provides an efficient means of managing your collection of images.
